Proud Moments, a leader in providing services for children on the autistic spectrum, is seeking an experienced Client Advocate to support our Queens-based clients and their families through the intake process and continue to serve as their go to person throughout ABA therapy services. Advocates ensure that the client and their families are satisfied with the services they are receiving and act as the liaison with the BCBAs. Working alongside the Staffing team to make sure appropriate clinicians are placed on each case.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology or related field and have 2-4 years of experience guiding parents through intake process, verifying insurance authorizations with our corporate team and aiding in obtaining a prescription for ABA services. Advocates must be empathetic and detail oriented, and possess strong customer service, written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional and demonstrated problem solving abilities and who are comfortable using technology, specifically MS Word and Excel.
Proud Moments is a haven of knowledge and expertise for parents of autistic children, encouraging children on the autism spectrum to learn and grow utilizing the principals of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Proud Moments services children on the autism spectrum, providing ABA treatments at home or school. Proud Moments services New York City, New Jersey, Syracuse, Maryland, Long Island, Reno and Las Vegas, Nevada, with expert treatment, innovative techniques and child-centered compassionate care.
Initially, this role will work out of our Cedarhurst office until a new Queens-based facility is opened.
